Paris Tate

Born in New Orleans, Paris Tate graduated from the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts’ Creative Writing program and received her BA in English with a Journalism concentration from the University of New Orleans. Her debut poetry collection, All the Words in Between (Portals Press) was published in early 2018. Her poems have also appeared in the the Maple Leaf Rag poetry anthology, Literary Yard, Live Mag!, and The New Guard Review, while her published news articles and columns have appeared in Bayou Buzz and Cognition magazine.  She currently lives in New Orleans with her husband and works as a librarian at the Jefferson Parish Public Library.
