All readers, presenters, volunteers and others involved with the Festival should register a user account for the website by filling in the form, below. What you enter here will be visible on the Presenters Page, so please take a moment and compile it before proceeding.

What you will need:

  • A login and password of your choosing.
  • A brief bio, 50-100 words. Your bio may include links to other websites, but it must also include basic information.
  • A picture. You will be required to upload a picture of yourself that will display on the Poets and Writers Page. You can select the picture you want to upload, but it should be OF you (ie, please don't use a picture of Marlon Brando or the Bride of Frankenstein).

 

Note: if you do not yet have an accepted proposal, you may still register your account here, though your bio and pic will not appear on the Presenters Page until a proposal has been accepted and you have been registered. Note that to prevent spam robots from invading, registrations with incomplete bios, no picture or erroneous pictures, will be cancelled and deleted.

 

A valid email address. All emails from the system will be sent to this address. The email address is not made public and will only be used if you wish to receive a new password or wish to receive certain news or notifications by email.
Several special characters are allowed, including space, period (.), hyphen (-), apostrophe ('), underscore (_), and the @ sign.
Members are alphabetized by last name. So if your nom de plume is Poet A. Guy, and you wish to be alphabetized by the name "Guy," enter Poet A. as your first name and Guy as your last name. If your nom de plume is Poet "Goodwriter" Guy, and you wish to be alphabetized by the name Goodwriter, enter Poet as your first name and Goodwriter Guy as your last name.
Put here the full name you would like to be known by on the conference program and on your bio on the web site.
A photo is required for registration. It will be resized to 350 x 350, but any size up to 2 mb may be uploaded.

Allowed types: png gif jpg jpeg.
Images larger than 350x480 pixels will be resized.
The bio text is required for registration. Please STYLE your text. Put your name in bold in the first sentence and use italics, etc., properly. You can include links to other sites, but the text of your bio must appear here. It will be included exactly as you enter it here in all festival materials.
Contact settings
Allow other users to contact you via a personal contact form which keeps your email address hidden. Note that some privileged users such as site administrators are still able to contact you even if you choose to disable this feature.
