Terri Carrion
Terri Carrion is a first generation American conceived in Venezuela and born in New York to a Galician mother and Cuban father. She spent her youth in Los Angeles, skateboarding and slam dancing. Her poetry, art, and photography has appeared and disappeared in print magazines and online, including The Cream City Review, Hanging Loose, Pearl, Penumbra, Exquisite Corpse, Mangrove, Exquisite Corpse, Jack, Mipoesia, and Dead Drunk Dublin, among many others. Most recently, her visual art appeared in the international anthology, WAAVe Global Gallery, (Hysterical Press, 2021) and in the online Summer 2020 exhibit at Women Asemic Writing, womenasemicwriters.intuitiveartists.com . Her Eco-glitch series will appear in Glitchy Womyn (Forthcoming, Dusie Press) And her poem, "Surrounded", was chosen by composer Nico Gutierrez to be set to music. Terri Carrion is Board President of Anhinga Press and co-founder of the global grassroots movement 100 Thousand Poets for Change , which provides a platform for poets and artists around the world to create events in their communities that promote peace, justice and sustainability.
