Javier Etchevarren was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1979. He is the author of several collections of poetry including Fable of an Inconsolable Man (Action Books) translated by Jesse Lee Kercheval. His poems appear in América invertida: An Anthology of Emerging Uruguayan Poets.
