
Marty Cain is a poet / video artist. His first book is a long poem called Kids of the Black Hole (Trembling Pillow Press, 2017). His writing has appeared (or is forthcoming) in journals such as Fence, Tarpaulin Sky, Jacket2, Gigantic Sequins, TAGVVERK, and elsewhere. He resides in Ithaca, New York with his partner, the poet Kina Viola; together, they run Garden-Door Press. Presently, he is pursuing a PhD at Cornell University, where he studies experimental poetics and the pastoral.
