Catherine Johnson Broussard is an African American poet, artist, author and activist living in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mrs. Broussard has a masters degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans and is the  author of "HIS WORDS", a collection of inspirational poems.  Mrs.  Broussard has appeared in several poetry publications some which include "Upon Arrival", "PS: It's Still Poetry" and best "Poets of 2020 and 2021". Her art work can be seen in "Martin L. King Jr. Commemorative Art Exhibitions for 2021 and 2022. Mrs. Broussard is the owner of The Wedding Broom Company of New Orleans LLCand the designer of the "Freedom Key". (The Freedom Key of New Orleans LLC)

Mrs. Broussard is the mother of three amazing souls and the grandmother to seven of the most precious gifts one can ask for. "I thank the Lord each day for my children and grandchildren; they are the love which feed my soul".
